Holiday Gift Guide 2019
I realize that posting this after “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday” have come and gone may be a bit counterintuitive, but for those, who like me, tend to procrastinate buying gifts in the hopes of finding something perfect, perhaps this will be a handy reference anyway.
So without further ado, I will list gift ideas by the recipient in the following lines. Hopefully no-one I know will see this before Christmas since I’m using some real-life examples. Eek!
Ok… 1, 2, 3…. GIFT!!!
#1. Gifts for your sweet BFF who lives in Berkeley and loves everything local, natural, and nourishing:
A green and woody scented candle to remind her of her favorite hiking spots, even when she’s stuck at work.
A locally-made, travel-friendly yoga mat in her favorite color, that she can take anywhere the mood to stretch strikes her.
A framed picture of the two of you to replace the last one which is from 20 years ago. Hello glow-up!
#2. Gifts for your college-grad younger brother who is a low-key creative genius, but doesn’t know how to shop for himself:
Custom Nikes that will be comfortable AND will look cool (bonus points for tech guys who aren’t afraid to wear color).
Some lightweight EarPods that will stay charged whether he’s running to start-up meetings or he’s on the long train journey home.
A super vibrant color-depositing conditioner, because now he finally has time to play with his style since he isn’t worried about papers and finals (and he wants to be cool like his pink-haired, big sis * wink *.
